Personal Loans in Oklahoma
SET Financial is a free matching service that connects Oklahoma residents with third-party lenders who make all credit decisions and set all rates and terms.
Get StartedSET Financial is a lead-connection service for new loan requests, not the lender. Not everyone who applies will be matched or approved.
Connecting Oklahoma Residents with Lenders
SET Financial is not a lender in Oklahoma. We are a matching service that connects Oklahoma residents with a network of third-party lenders, and those lenders make every credit decision and set all rates and terms. Requests from people with bad credit or thin credit files are welcome, though submitting a request is never a guarantee of approval.
An installment loan is a loan you repay in fixed, scheduled payments over a set term rather than all at once, which can make budgeting more predictable than open-ended credit. Oklahoma residents commonly use personal and installment loans for things like car repairs, medical or dental bills, rent or utility catch-up, moving costs, appliance replacement, debt consolidation, and other unexpected expenses. The right loan amount, rate, and term depend entirely on the lender you are matched with and your individual situation.

Who the Network Works With in Oklahoma
Bad credit
A past-due history or low score does not automatically disqualify you. Some third-party lenders in our network consider requests from borrowers with bad credit, though the lender alone decides and approval is never guaranteed.
Thin or no credit
If you have little or no credit history, certain lenders may look at other factors such as income and bank activity. SET Financial simply passes your request to lenders who make their own decisions.
Self-employed or 1099 income
Independent contractors and gig workers can submit a request. Lenders may ask for documentation such as bank statements or tax records to verify self-employed or 1099 income.
Fixed income
People on Social Security, disability, retirement, or other fixed income are welcome to request a match. The lender evaluates whether the payments fit your budget and sets any terms.
Oklahoma Rates and Your Protections
Consumer lending in Oklahoma is governed by the Oklahoma Uniform Consumer Credit Code (Title 14A), administered by the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit, which licenses and supervises non-depository consumer lenders. Under this framework, non-supervised consumer loans are generally limited to a 10 percent per year loan finance charge, while supervised lenders (licensed for rates above 10 percent) may charge tiered finance charges set by statute. SET Financial does not set rates. Any APR, fees, and terms are determined solely by the third-party lender that makes you an offer.
You can confirm a lender is licensed by checking with the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit, and you should always review the APR, fees, and repayment terms shown on your loan agreement before signing.
