Applying for a Loan

How much can I borrow?

The lenders in our network offer a range of loan amounts. The amount and terms you're offered depend on the lender, your income and existing debts, and your state.

Submit one request and you can compare the offers you're matched with, then choose the one that fits.

Will submitting a request hurt my credit score?

No. SET Financial does not obtain or pull a credit report when you submit a lender-network request.

What do I need to apply?

Not much — it only takes a few minutes. You'll share some basic information so we can match you with lenders:

1. Your contact details (name, phone, and email)
2. Basic income and employment information
3. A checking account where funds could be deposited

Individual lenders may ask for additional verification before finalizing an offer.

What states do you serve?

We connect borrowers with lenders in these states:

Alabama, Idaho, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Utah, and Wisconsin.

Getting Your Funds

How fast can I get funded?

Funding speed depends on the lender you choose. Some lenders in our network may offer same-day or next-business-day funding once you're approved and your loan is finalized.

Timing varies by lender, and weekends or bank holidays may cause additional delays.

How will I receive my money?

The lender you choose deposits your funds directly into your checking account, typically via ACH transfer — the same method used for direct-deposit paychecks.

You'll provide your bank account and routing numbers so the lender can send your funds.

What if I need to change my bank account?

If you have an existing loan serviced by SET Financial, contact our customer service team at 800-803-2510 or cs@setfinancial.com to update your bank information. For a new loan, your bank details are handled by the lender you're matched with.

For security purposes, bank account changes may require verification of your identity.

Repaying Your Loan

Can I pay off my loan early?

For a loan serviced by SET Financial, yes — you can pay it off early at any time with zero prepayment penalties, and paying early saves you money on interest.

Simply log in to your account or call us to make an additional payment or pay off your balance in full. For a new loan through our network, prepayment terms are set by your chosen lender.

What payment methods do you accept?

For loans serviced by SET Financial, we accept:

ACH Bank Transfer - Automatic withdrawals from your checking account (most common)
Debit Card - One-time or recurring payments using your Visa or Mastercard debit card
Phone Payment - Call us to make a payment over the phone

What if I cannot make a payment?

If you have an existing loan serviced by SET Financial, contact us immediately if you are having trouble making a payment.

For new loans through our network, contact your lender directly; they handle payment schedules and hardship options.

For existing SET-serviced loans, call us at 800-803-2510 or email cs@setfinancial.com.

Security & Privacy

Is my personal information secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard 256-bit SSL encryption to protect all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. This is commonly used to protect sensitive financial information online.

To match you with a loan, we share the information you provide with lenders in our network. Read our Privacy Policy for how your information is used and shared, and your choices.

Will you sell my information?

To match you with a loan, we share — and may sell — the information you provide to the lenders and lending networks in our program so they can present offers to you. That's how our free service works, and it's described in our Privacy Policy, where you can also opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Information tied to an existing loan that SET Financial services is handled under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and is not sold.

Is SET Financial Corporation a legitimate company?

Yes. SET Financial Corporation has been in business since 2007. We are a licensed lender that services existing customer accounts, and for new loan requests we connect consumers with a network of third-party lenders and lending networks who make all loan and credit decisions.

For details on how we handle and share your information, see our Privacy Policy.
