Personal Loans in Delaware
SET Financial is a loan matching service, not a lender, connecting Delaware residents with third-party lenders.
Get StartedSET Financial is a lead-connection service for new loan requests, not the lender. Not everyone who applies will be matched or approved.
Connecting Delaware Residents with Lenders
SET Financial is not a lender. We are a matching service that connects Delaware residents with third-party lenders who make every credit decision and set all rates and terms. Borrowers with bad, thin, or limited credit are welcome to submit a request, though approval is never guaranteed.
An installment loan gives you a fixed amount up front that you repay in scheduled payments over a set term, so the payment amount stays predictable. Delaware residents often use personal and installment loans for car repairs, medical or dental bills, home improvements, debt consolidation, moving costs, or covering an unexpected expense between paychecks.

Who the Network Works With in Delaware
Bad credit
A past credit stumble does not automatically disqualify you. Lenders in our network review more than a single score, though approval and terms are always their decision.
Thin or no credit
If you have little or no credit history, you can still submit a request. Some lenders weigh income and banking activity, but approval is not guaranteed.
Self-employed or 1099 income
Freelancers and contractors can request a match. Be ready to show income through bank statements or tax records, and remember the lender sets the terms.
Fixed income
If you rely on Social Security, disability, retirement, or other fixed income, you can still apply. Lenders decide whether the loan fits your budget.
Delaware Rates and Your Protections
Non-bank consumer lenders operating in Delaware are licensed and supervised by the Delaware Office of the State Bank Commissioner under Title 5 of the Delaware Code. For licensed lenders, Delaware law (5 Del. C. 2229) generally lets interest be charged at the rate stated in the loan agreement, so Delaware has no general rate cap for those lenders. SET Financial does not set rates. Each lender in our network sets its own rates, fees, and terms.
Before you sign, confirm your lender is licensed with the Delaware Office of the State Bank Commissioner and review the APR, fees, and total cost written in your loan agreement.
