SET Financial is a lead-connection service for new loan requests, not the lender. Not everyone who applies will be matched or approved.

Connecting Arizona Residents with Lenders

SET Financial is not a lender in Arizona. We are a free connection service that helps Arizona residents get matched with third-party lenders who review each request and decide whether to make a loan. Our network includes lenders who consider applicants with bad credit or thin credit, though approval, rates, and terms are always set by the lender, not by SET Financial.

An installment loan is a personal loan you receive as a lump sum and repay over time in fixed, scheduled payments, usually monthly, until the balance and interest are paid off. Arizona residents commonly use installment and personal loans for unexpected car or home repairs, medical or dental bills, debt consolidation, moving costs, or bridging a gap between paychecks. Because payments are predictable, many borrowers find them easier to budget for than open-ended credit.

Who the Network Works With in Arizona

Bad credit

A low credit score does not automatically rule you out. Some lenders in our network look at income and recent history, not just your score, but the lender alone decides whether to approve you and on what terms.

Thin or no credit

If you have little or no credit history, you may still be matched with lenders who weigh factors beyond a traditional credit file. Approval and rates are always determined by the lender.

Self-employed or 1099 income

Being self-employed or paid on a 1099 does not disqualify you. Some lenders accept bank statements or other proof of income. Each lender sets its own documentation and approval requirements.

Fixed income

Borrowers on Social Security, disability, retirement, or other fixed income can request a match. Lenders decide based on their own criteria, and terms vary by lender.

Arizona Rates and Your Protections

In Arizona, companies that make consumer loans of $10,000 or less must hold a consumer lender license from the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions and follow the state consumer lender law. Under that law (A.R.S. 6-632), licensed consumer lenders are subject to tiered rate caps, generally up to 36% on the first $3,000 of principal and 24% on the portion above $3,000, or a single blended rate. SET Financial does not set rates. The actual APR, fees, and repayment terms on any loan are set by the third-party lender you are matched with and disclosed in your loan agreement before you sign.

Before you accept an offer, confirm the lender is licensed by checking the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions and the NMLS Consumer Access database, and review the exact APR, fees, and payment schedule shown on your loan agreement.

Regulator: Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions (DIFI).
